The Miss Judy Education Scholarship
(Awarded by the Matlacha Mariners in memory of Miss Judy Nelson Gay)
1.) This scholarship will be in the amount of $1,000.00.
2.) It can be used for any variety of educational needs (tuition, books, etc...)
3.) Applications can now be picked up at Traders Hitching Post in Matlacha Florida.

4.) Deadline for completed applications is July 1st. 2008 (no exceptions).
5.) Necessary Qualifications:
a) Have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
You must also meet one of the following requirements;
b) A former student of Pine Island Elementary School, or
c) Applicant is a Matlacha Mariner, or
d) Someone in the applicants family is a Matlacha Mariner or
e) Applicant is a resident of Pine Island.
Notification
and award of the scholarship to the winner will take place the first week of
August annually.
